Affordable Bridal Pty Ltd Terms and Conditions of Sale

Please be aware that specific terms and conditions apply to items purchased from Affordable Bridal Pty Ltd. We request that you inspect your item/s and sign your invoice at the time of purchase. By signing your invoice, you are confirming the price as well as the size, the colour and the style of your gown etc. If you are ordering your bridal items, your invoice will also detail the expected delivery time of your order and you will be asked to sign your invoice as your agreement to the details of your order. This process protects both you and Affordable Bridal Pty Ltd, as it states, in writing, the exact details of your purchase or order. Please note that you are responsible for any sizing decisions.

When placing an order for your bridal items, please note that you will be required to pay a deposit of 50% of the total cost before the order can be placed. No order will be made until the deposit has been paid. Please also note that while all delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed, Affordable Bridal Pty Ltd will work closely with its designers to manage the delivery of your order. Rush charges can expedite an order but the delivery date remains an estimate. You agree to not hold Affordable Bridal Pty Ltd responsible for delays in delivery beyond their control such as Industrial disputes, Weather, Transport disruptions, Quarantine periods etc.

Please be aware that once you pay a deposit, you are locked into purchasing the items as specified on your signed invoice and if you cancel, you will lose any and all of your deposit up to 50% the value of the gown. Any amounts over 50% will be refunded. This is due to the cost of ordering your size and particular style and/or colour. This also applies to gowns purchased ‘off the rack’ as they are removed from sale when the deposit is paid.

Upon delivery of your order, we request that you come out to inspect and collect your item(s) within 10 days from the time of notification. Our designers afford us 14 days to identify any faults with your purchase after which they will not accept the return of items for either repair or replacement. After 14 days, Affordable Bridal Pty Ltd reserves the right to refuse items for repair, exchange or refund. Any items unclaimed after three months may be; a) treated as abandoned goods with full forfeiture of payments and the items in question returned to the shop for re-sale, or b) be charged a storage fee of $50/month or part thereof.

From time to time, Affordable Bridal Pty Ltd may have sales or offer bridal items at a discounted price. These items may not be in pristine condition and are offered on an “as is” basis. They may have minor imperfections, colour variations, missing beads or slight soiling. Please note that all purchases under these conditions are final and you are not entitled to a refund or exchange except as provided for by law.

Affordable Bridal Pty Ltd will provide you with options for dressmakers, alterations are common on bridal/bridesmaids garments – as normally the length and bodice will need adjustments. These are additional to the cost and you pay the dressmaker directly. These are not included in your purchase price. Please note that no alterations will be undertaken until your bridal gown has been paid for in full. These details are provided as options only and are not to be taken as an express recommendation as to the quality of work. The customer is free to accept to use a dressmaker whose details have been provided or choose their own. Any disputes arising out of workmanship or costs are between the dressmaker and customer expressly and do not involve Affordable Bridal Pty Ltd.

As provided for by law, you are entitled to a refund, repair or credit if the items you have bought are:

  • Faulty;
  • Significantly different to what has been agreed in writing; and/or
  • Not doing what they are supposed to do.

Affordable Bridal Pty Ltd reserves the right to assess the condition and age of returned goods prior to offering a repair, exchange or refund. This may result in a repair, exchange or refund being refused. For health and hygiene reasons, no refunds are available on pierced earrings (subject to the above).

When you purchase your bridal items, please inspect them carefully. You are not entitled to a refund for simply changing your mind.

Please keep your receipt as proof of purchase. If you cannot present your Affordable Bridal Pty Ltd receipt or other acceptable proof of purchase, Affordable Bridal Pty Ltd reserves the right not to offer a refund or exchange.
