Shipping Policy
- Overview
At Affordable Bridal, we take great care in preparing and delivering your wedding or formal dress. As many of our items are made-to-order or carefully sourced, please allow appropriate processing time before dispatch.
This Shipping Policy outlines how and when you can expect to receive your order.
- Processing Times
All orders are subject to a processing period before dispatch:
- Ready-to-ship items: 1–3 business days
- Made-to-order styles: This varies on an individual basis depending on factors such as the Designer, Modifications etc. This will be discussed with the customer on an order being placed. General order times are 4-16 weeks. Rush options are available for an additional fee.
- Alterations: Dress are made as per each designer's size chart and not to an individual customer's measuerments. Considering this, all garments will need to be altered by an external seamstress/professional dressmaker and additional fees may apply.
Processing times are estimates and may vary during peak bridal seasons.
- Shipping Within Australia
We offer Australia-wide shipping via trusted carriers such as Australia Post and/or reputable courier services.
- Standard Shipping: 2–8 business days after dispatch
- Express Shipping: 1–3 business days after dispatch (where available)
Shipping times are estimates only and may vary depending on location and carrier delays.
- International Shipping
We offer international on a case by case basis.
- Customs delays may apply and are outside our control
- Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees charged by their country
- Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser and will be discussed on an individual basis, normally express post is from $25-$35. Any quotes that may be provided are an estimation only and may increase or decrease by the time the item is ready to be sent.
- Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to update.
- Delivery Issues
If your parcel is:
- Delayed
- Marked as delivered but not received
- Damaged in transit
Please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date so we can assist you.
We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs processing, or incorrect address details provided at checkout.
- Incorrect Address
Please ensure your shipping details are correct at checkout. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.
If you notice an error, contact us immediately. We will do our best to update it before dispatch, but changes cannot be guaranteed once processing has begun.
- Risk & Responsibility
Once your order has been dispatched and tracking information has been provided, responsibility for the parcel transfers to the customer.
- Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to remedies for goods that are faulty, not as described, or fail to meet consumer guarantees.
